Boldly going...to the 80's??

As I sit in my captain's chair, pondering the next terrestrial mission I will undertake, I find myself wondering, what did people from such a long time ago expect to see in the future of StarTrek? Perhaps they expected the legendary Captian Kirk to appear?  Looking back now it seems, they really had no frickin' clue.

It seemed Trek was here to stay.  TNG became the touchstone of a generation.  How could they go wrong?  Oh yeah, they hired a writer that hated everything Gene stood for.  Oh the humanity!  Perhaps someday Trek will return to its former glory.

Trek is more alive than ever since J. J. Abrams picked it up. Yay for SUmmer `09! Sad about the Trek Experience in Vegas though :(

Trek is alive and living on Stargate Atlantis. Along with the Dr. from Voyager, Dax from DS9 just showed up last night as a new character, she might be working with what's her name from Firefly.

Yeah, the trek experience was pretty cool. They had a whole museum of pieces from the shows and movies. They also had a cool interactive part where you get 'transported' to the Enterprise D- that was the best part of the whole thing. They also had a shop where you could buy some of the prop pieces.
